I will be back...

As much as I have loved taking pictures for everyone I have decided to take a break from the business side of photography.  With two little ones and a traveling husband it has become apparent that I don't have the type of time I want to be able to spend on my clients.  I continue to carry my camera everywhere and when my boys are older I will be back. 

Thank you to everyone who allowed me to play with their kids and capture moments for their families.

The Hunt is ON!

For the last 2 weeks me and my 4 year old have been participating in the 2011 Clickin Moms Photo Scavenger Hunt.  We have had a blast with taking pics of our dog to finding a wedding barbie (he wasn't so keen on that one :)

Wish us luck, we have an awesome neighborhood/group of friends helping us out on this!

Mohawk!

So here are some pictures of my oldest boy Nathan.  He came home one day and said he wanted a Mohawk?!?  I asked him to tell me what he thought a Mohawk was and he described it perfectly.  I cut the Mohawk but never really spiked it up or anything.  Then the last day of preschool they had a generations party and we tried channeling the Punk era and here is the result.

Baby Cater and Big B

I met Baby Carter's mommy while we sat and watched our older boys learn to swim.  I was so excited to take her boys pictures.  Baby Carter was such a love bug!

When I moved to Houston I joined a local MOMS Club which I loved and made some wonderful friends.  A member of the club asked me to take her families picture before the went to their Easter service and I was thrilled.
